Our chapter’s Mission includes offering financial support for students whose studies include Wildlife Management and Veterinary Medicine. Today, we are seeking your assistance in identifying candidates for educational scholarships for and/or Spring year.
If you know of a college student that is currently studying or beginning studies that relate to Veterinary Medicine or Wildlife Management, we would ask that you refer these students to us so that we might include them in our search for scholarship candidates.
Because of your support and the support of other members like you, the chapter’s Board is pleased to announce that we hope to offer up to a total of $5,000 in scholarships for Fall and Spring semesters. Our goal is to identify up to ten students from our local area for which to provide individual financial assistance between $500 and $1,000 each.
To be considered for a scholarship, we need the student to write the chapter’s Board, describing themselves and their studies, explaining how their studies might contribute to SCI’s Mission of conservation and provide the school name and the semester in which they are enrolled.
The letter should be addressed to:

We had a great Banquet and Auction and hope that you were able to attend. We have many exciting areas in which we are carrying out our chapter’s Mission in and scholarships are just one of these areas. We greatly appreciate your past support and look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Board of Directors of the Alamo Chapter of SCI
